Kutsinta is chewy soft steam cake made with flour and cassava flour it also the one of favorite pilipino snack, dessert, breakfast, eat this food goes with grated coconut but in new generation kutsinta make more delicious now a days you can eat with dip yema sauce or grated cheese
Ingredients
1cup all purpose flour
1 cup cassava flour
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp annato(soak in 2 tbsp water)
3 cups of water
1 1/2 lye water
For toppings
Yema sauce
Grated Cheese Grated coconut
Procedure
🥢In large bowl combine first all dry ingredient. Cassava and all purpose flour and brown sugar mix well
🥢Add all liquid ingredients water, lye, and annato water and whisk until properly mixed together and set aside
🥢In strainer, use it to strain any lumps
🥢In steamer boil adequate water
🥢Rub the molds with oil to avoid mixture to sticking and help to remove easily when it cooked
🥢Put mixture in mold level lid mold
🥢Steam in low heat until cooked within 30 minutes... In medium mold ( cooking time depend in mold size)
🥢Let it cool and remove from mold
🥢Now ready to serve with sprinkle coconut grated or cheese can dip also in yema sauce
